Elaine’s Draft Kings DFS EPL Picks for September 29

Draft Kings has six games on Saturday’s slate. The two most asymmetric matches today are the Spurs (12 goals) vs Huddersfield (14 goals conceded), and Manchester City (19 goals) vs. BHA (11 goals conceded), making it no surprise that Kane and Agüero are the most expensive players. Of the two, I like Kane better, because Manchester City has so much talent to spread the wealth; Sané, Mahrez, Jesus, and Sterling have good chances to score.

The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of two forwards, two midfielders, two defenders, one goalkeeper, and  one utility player. Saturday’s fixtures are below. The Fixture Difficulty Rating (FDR) comes from the Fantasy Premier League website. The rating is from 1-5 with one being the lowest difficulty rating and five being the highest difficulty rating (higher the rating, better the team).

Fixtures for September 29, 2018

Home Team FDR Away Team FDR
Arsenal 4 Watford 3
Everton 2 Fulham 2
Huddersfield 2 Spurs 4
Manchester City 5 BHA 2
Newcastle 3 Leicester 3
Chelsea 4 Liverpool 5
Wolves 3 Southampton 2

Spurs M/F Erik Lamela ($6400): Lamela should get a start with Christian Eriksen out. The Argentine has scored a goal and earned 16 points the past two games playing less than 90 minutes. The Spurs will see Huddersfield on the pitch who have given up 14 goals this season.

Wolves D Matt Doherty ($5000): The Wolves are in the middle of the pack ranked at 10th place. Doherty seems to be somewhat of a bully – picks on the weak. When a weaker team is on the pitch, the Irishman scores double-digit fantasy points. On the flipside, against a strong team, the defender scores around two points. Well, today the Wolves will play Southampton which means the Irish defender should have his day.
