The Athletics tied the Astros for first place in the AL West, so they will battle it out today with a duel between Justin Verlander and Sean Manaea. The cowardly Jose Ureña will take the mound as he awaits his appeal. Maybe his inside fastball will be — well, inside — as he faces another well-hitting rookie, Juan Soto. I hope he gets a good taste of Nationals’ bats.

Not so sunny in Philadelphia today with a slight chance of rain. The rest of the games look clear.

Brandon Belt ($3800): Before going on the DL, Belt had 14 home runs with 12 of those off of right-handed pitchers. The lefty Giant will face Luis Castillo, who has given up 13 home runs to lefties. Lefties have a .303 BA against Castillo, which matches well with Belt’s .301 BA against right-handed pitchers.

Miguel Sano ($4600): The Twins and Tigers will wrap up their series today. Sano’s average fantasy points is 9.5 with two home runs against the Tigers the past three games. Sano has been all or none but is improving as evident by his .286 BA and three home runs over the past seven days.
