Want to take on the Creativesports 2.0 staff, braino-y-braino, at  DFS?

Well, you can indeed at RealTime Sports, matching up against my Creativesports 2.0 mates and me, and get some bragging rights in the process.

Tune in here daily, as we pick up the Creativesports 2.0 gauntlet where you can play our daily 50/50 game ($5) or come right after us — for we will rotate experts — on Fridays in the free Beat the Experts contest. Beat us and you can win $2, and that might be easier than you think!

We’re looking at some sketchy weather today, with Midwest games a major concern. Best to avoid the Cardinals-Cubs and Pirates-Reds tilts. Or plan to be flexible with rosters leading up to game time.

Rougned Odor: I just made the case for Oder in this week’s column, and here’s the gist: Over the past month the second baseman has tallied five home runs, 10 RBI, 17 runs and four steals. The .282/.367/.518 slash line over that period looks a lot more like 2016 (.271/.296/.502) than 2017 (.204/.252/.397).

Nathan Eovaldi: The Rays righty was blown up for eight earned runs in Minnesota his final turn before the All-Star break but had allowed only two over three starts prior to that debacle. In fact, he has two one-hitters (over six and seven innings, respectively) in that span, each with nine strikeouts. Facing the Marlins at Tropicana is a solid gig.
