Draft Kings NBA Value Plays for Friday December 8, 2017

There are eight NBA games on the main Friday December 8th slate at Draft Kings. I enjoy playing these mid-size slates and I especially like to search for the right value plays to go along with high priced studs I’m targeting like DeMarcus Cousins and LeBron James.

The contests begin at 7:00 pm tonight so be sure to check and see if the players you have selected are actually playing tonight.

The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of one point guard, one shooting guard, one small forward, one power forward, one center, one guard, one forward and one utility player.

With all the high priced options tonight we are going to need to find some solid value plays. For me that means players priced at $5,000 dollars or less that have the upside to return anywhere from six times value or more.

I have three such players in great spots Friday that I would like you to consider.

Over the past five games the Cleveland Cavaliers have allowed small forwards to average 92.6 Draft Kings points per game. The Cavs are also allowing opposing teams to average 35 points per night via the three point shot. For those reasons I am interested in Indiana Pacers small forward Bojan Bogdanovic ($4900). Over his past five games Bogdanovic has knocked down eleven triples and has exceeded six times value in two of his past five games.

The Orlando Magic has allowed more points in the paint this season (49.5) than any other team in the NBA. Over their past five games opposing centers have averaged 54.3 Draft Kings points per game and Denver Nuggets center Mason Plumlee ($4500) has a great opportunity to do some damage on Friday night. Over his past five games Plumlee has exceeded six times value twice and might make a good boom or bust “punt” play on Friday.

With Golden State Warriors PG Stephen Curry on the shelf SG/SF Andre Iguodala ($4500) is in a very good spot Friday night against a Detroit Pistons defense allowing small forwards to average 102.6 Draft Kings points per game over their last five games. Iguodala also plays the point when Curry is out and the Pistons aren’t much better at defending that position either allowing 56.3 Draft Kings points per game over their last five games. Iguodala has exceeded six times value in four of his last five ballgames.

Good luck at Draft Kings!!
