MLB DFS Picks for the FantasyDraft April 15

It’s a full slate of games today, but weather is already an issue for several games. The Chicago White Sox at Minnesota is already postponed due to snow. The NY Yankees at Detroit game is likely to be postponed due to rain. The forecast for Baltimore at Boston is 32.5° with 15 mph winds coming in and an 18% chance of snow possibly causing a delay or postponed. These games are likely to be delayed or rained out: Toronto at Cleveland; St. Louis at Cincinnati; Atlanta at Chicago Cubs.

These teams have a possibility of being delayed or postponed: Milwaukee at NY Mets; Colorado at Washington, LA Angels at Kansas City. Just a reminder – the domed stadiums are Pittsburgh at Miami; Philadelphia at Tampa Bay; Oakland at Seattle; Texas at Houston. On top of that, it is Sunday which is a popular rest day for catchers. Now that we have all that straight, let’s have some fun and play FantasyDraft!

Ian Kinsler ($7,400): Ian Kinsler has only played two games since coming off the disabled list so the sample size this season is very small. The talented second baseman already has a homerun and two stolen bases in two games. The Angels gave Kinsler Saturday off so he’ll be coming off of a day of rest. Kinsler can test his health against Eric Skoglund who is lugging a 9.64 ERA. If Skoglund doesn’t last many innings, Kansas City’s bullpen ERA is 6.26.

Maikel Franco ($7,300): With all the weather issues, here’s a dome pick. Maikel Franco has a good start to the ;season hitting .258/.314/.548 with two HRs. The Phillies are using a rotation so Franco’s playing status will have to be checked; however, the third baseman had Friday off. Franco will face left-handed pitcher Ryan Yarbrough. Interestingly, both of Franco’s HRs came off of left-handed pitchers, Jarlin García and Dillon Peters.
