Football Hotpage Week Six – Narrow Choices

The week six slate is very weird from a match-up perspective.  There are three games on the regular DraftKings slate with very high totals, then a bunch of other games.

The recommended quarterback list is narrowed down to the quarterbacks in Bengals-Steelers, Falcons-Bucs and  Goff.  It is just too risky to roster any other quarterback in a DFS GPP game.

Take a look at the tight end position this week.  Where did they all go?  Well, they all went to to games that are not on the regular DraftKings slate.  Zach Ertz on Thursday.  Gronk and Travis Kelce on Sunday night, with Jimmy Graham and George Kittle still set for the Monday Night Game.

DraftKings jacked up the price on Todd Gurley to $10,000 for the first time all season.  Do not be scared away and  fade him at your own risk.  He has scored at least 25.6 in every game and who knows how high he can go if Kupp or Cooks are not cleared from concussion protocol.

Right now my lineup in based on a Bucs stack with a Falcon WR and Gurley.  Also looking at Bibbs or M. Harris at min price on Washington if Thompson or Doctson are out.

QB Matt Ryan ATL 6800 Will need to throw.  Hope Ito doesn’t vulture more TDs
QB Ben Roethlisberger PIT 6500 Great spot at home
QB Andy Dalton CIN 6300 Bengals offense has been rolling all season
QB Jared Goff LAR 6000 Rams over 30 points in all five games
QB Jameis Winston TB 5800 2018 debut as starter in awesome spot
RB Todd Gurley II LAR 10000 Jacked up price.  Scored at least 25.6 in every game
RB Melvin Gordon III LAC 8200 Loses some touches to Ekelar but very high floor
RB James Conner PIT 7700 Best back in the shoot-out games
RB Joe Mixon CIN 7500 Strong return from knee injury
RB T.J. Yeldon JAX 6400 Way underpriced as lead back
RB David Johnson ARI 5900 Not seeing the targets as in the past but still strong

WR Mike Evans TB 8100 Top ten-priced recommended backs go with the QBs
WR A.J. Green CIN 8000 At least eight targets in every game
WR Julio Jones ATL 7900 He will have two blow-up games this season – but when?
WR JuJu Smith-Schuster PIT 7300 A little over-priced based on recent performance
WR Robert Woods LAR 6900 Might be the only healthy Rams receiver
WR Calvin Ridley ATL 6300 Tough to sustain at elevated price – six or fewer targets in four games
WR Tyler Boyd CIN 6000 Priced-up like Ridley, but with more targets
WR DeSean Jackson TB 5900 Big plays early in the season
WR Mohamed Sanu ATL 4800 At least six targets in four games.  More than 3x current price in past three
