Elaine’s Picks for the RealTime 50/50 Challenge, May 27, 2018

First things first! Happy Memorial Day everyone. And, Thank You, to all the families who have lost a loved one. (And, that includes you, Elaine, who served two tours in Iraq!)

So, would you like to take on the Creativesports brain trust in DFS and see if you can beat us?

Well, you can indeed at RealTime Sports, matching up against my Creativesports 2.0 mates and me, and get some bragging rights in the process.

Tune in here daily, as we pick up the Creativesports 2.0 gauntlet where you can play our daily 50/50 game($5) or come right after us — for we will rotate experts — on Fridays in the free Beat the Experts contest. Beat us and you can win $2, and that might be easier than you think!

Yu Darvish was placed on the DL so Tyler Chatwood will be pitching for the Cubs. Chris Sale is the highest priced pitcher but take caution as the Braves have the highest batting average and rank 5th in homeruns against lefties. High number of runs are predicted for KC at TEX and Cin at Col.

Rain on the East coast predicted but not expected to impact any games.

Scooter Gennett ($3600): Scooter has been on fire with an average above .380 for the past 30 games and three HRs the last seven games with six fantasy points the last two games versus Colorado. Not only will Scooter be batting in Coors Field, the Redhot Red will be facing German Marquez who boasts a 10.34 ERA at home.

Joey Gallo ($4500): Unlike Scooter, Gallo will not dazzle with his batting average; however, the Ranger is the highest ranking Homerun hitter (14 HRs) among First Basemen. Ten of Gallo’s HRs have come against right-handers and six have sailed at home; Gallo will face right-hander Jason Hammel (5.7 ERA) at home.
