The D’Backs are in Colorado with Zack Godley and Kyle Freeland pitching so great potential for fantasy points. Houston bats are predicted to be hot. The G-Spring and Altuve have high prices, but maybe there’s another Astro not so expensive.

Rain on the East Coast? Of course! Most of the games should not be affected but the Giants at Nats game could be delayed or rained out.

Paul Goldschmidt ($5900): Goldy must have found his bat at the end of the rainbow smashing 44 fantasy points his last three games with four home runs (all in Colorado). Goldy’s .333 BA and 1.133 OPS against left-handed pitchers invites the matchup against lefty Kyle Freeland. The .536 batting average over the last seven games, of course, isn’t sustainable, but the point is Goldy isn’t on fire, he’s brisant (high explosives term). The D’Back isn’t a bargain but still cheaper than Freddie Freeman and Anthony Rizzo.

Josh Reddick ($3600): Here’s a bargain that can help offset the price of Goldy and an ace pitcher. The lefty Reddick actually bats better against left-handed pitching (.268 BA, .488 SLG), so circumstances are favorable for the Astros outfielder facing Matt Moore who struggles against left-handed batting (.459 BAA).

Jose Martinez ($3800): Want an alternative to Goldy? Jose Martinez found his homerun swing at the end of the rainbow. Martinez has been hitting well with a .317 avg for the season but it looks like the homers are coming. The Cardinal only has nine HRs for the season, but four of those have come the last three games. Over the last seven games, Martinez has a .550 BA, 1.250 SLG, and 1.859 OPS. Like Goldy, these stats are not sustainable, but why not ride the fire while it’s burning?
