DraftKings has six games on the slate for Tuesday. The favored teams are Manchester United, Man City and Arsenal. Rashford is safer than Pogba with a higher floor, but Pogba can score big and has since the change in managers. Aubameyang plays better at home and will look to improve his form against Cardiff. Take your pick with Man City strikers. Look to the other clubs for affordable production. I like Everton, Brighton, the Wolves and Fulham.
The standard lineup at DraftKings consists of two forwards, two midfielders, two defenders, one goalkeeper and one utility player. Saturday’s fixtures are below. The Fixture Difficulty Rating (FDR) comes from the Fantasy Premier League website. The rating is from 1-5 with one being the lowest difficulty rating and five being the highest difficulty rating (higher the rating, better the team).
Fixtures for Jan. 29, 2019
Home Team | FDR | Away Team | FDR |
Arsenal | 4 | Cardiff | 2 |
Fulham | 2 | Brighton | 3 |
Huddersfield | 2 | Everton | 3 |
Wolves | 3 | West Ham | 3 |
Man Utd | 4 | Burnley | 2 |
New Castle | 2 | Man City | 5 |
Brighton, M/F, Pascal Gross ($7,000): Gross is averaging 7.4 FPPG and earned 18.8 points last week. The German midfielder hasn’t dropped below six points the last five games. Brighton has a great match against Fulham, which has allowed the most goals and third-most shots this season.
Everton, M/F, Richarlison ($7,400): Richarlison’s hot streak has cooled to spikey, either giving you double-digit points or wasting your salary. Everton’s ill-tempered forward hasn’t scored since Dec. 26. The match against Huddersfield is a good opportunity return to form.
