Elaine’s Draft Kings DFS EPL Picks for Dec. 1, 2018

Draft Kings has five games on Saturday’s slate. Man City’s dominance is evident, with the top five forwards on today’s slate all coming from Man City.

This also speaks to my frustration with Man City offense — lots of talent that gets spread around. It will be difficult to stack Man City since they’re expensive. Also, make sure you check Man City’s lineup, since manager Guardiola likes to rotate players. At home, Leicester owns Watford, making Jamie Vardy or James Maddison an intriguing play.

The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of two forwards, two midfielders, two defenders, one goalkeeper, and one utility player. Saturday’s fixtures are below. The Fixture Difficulty Rating (FDR) comes from the Fantasy Premier League website. The rating is from 1-5 with one being the lowest difficulty rating and five being the highest difficulty rating (higher the rating, better the team). Man United away against Southampton is the other highly favored match up, which will have Anthony Martial as a top play. For bargain players, look to Crystal Palace, Huddersfield and Newcastle today.

Fixtures for December 1, 2018

Home Team FDR Away Team FDR
Crystal Palace 2 Burnley 2
Huddersfield 2 Brighton 3
Leicester 3 Watford 3
Man City 5 Bournemouth 3
Newcastle 2 West Ham 2
Southampton 2 Man United 4

Huddersfield M Steve Mounie ($5,100): With Depoitre injured, Mounie has been on the pitch and averaged 7.75 points the past two matches. Depoitre is questionable, but Mounie is expected to play. The Frenchman has a good chance to provide fantasy value against Brighton, which has conceded 19 goals this season.

Crystal Palace D Aaron Wan-Bissaka ($5,300): Wan-Bissaka’s 7.4 fantasy points per games are accumulated through peripherals — crosses, clearances, and tackles. Crystal Palace has a good match today at home against Burnley.
