There are nine NBA games on the main Wednesday December 13th slate at Draft Kings. I enjoy playing these mid-size slates and I especially like to search for the right value plays to go along with high priced studs I’m targeting like DeMarcus Cousins and LeBron James.
The contests begin at 7:00 pm tonight so be sure to check and see if the players you have selected are actually playing tonight.
The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of one point guard, one shooting guard, one small forward, one power forward, one center, one guard, one forward and one utility player.
With all the high priced options tonight we are going to need to find some solid value plays. For me that means players priced at $5,000 dollars or less that have the upside to return anywhere from six times value or more.
I have three such players in great spots Wednesday that I would like you to consider.
Memphis Grizzlies SF/PF Chandler Parsons ($4000) should make for a very interesting play Wednesday against a Washington Wizards defense allowing power forwards to average 63 Draft Kings points over their past five games. Parsons also sees some minutes at small forward and lucky for him the Wizards allow 55.3 Draft Kings points per game over the past five. Parsons has exceeded six times value in four of his past five games.
Over their past five games the New Orleans Pelicans have allowed shooting guards to average 113 Draft Kings points per game and point guards are averaging 71.3 Draft Kings points per game over their last five. That puts Milwaukee Bucks PG/SG Malcolm Brogdon ($4700) firmly in play on Wednesday night. Over the past five games Brogdon has exceeded six times value in four of those five games and has a very good opportunity to do so again on Wednesday.
Los Angeles Clippers PG Milos Teodosic ($3900) has finally returned from injury and exceeded six times value against a very solid Toronto Raptors defense. On Wednesday night he faces an Orlando Magic defense that over their past five games have allowed point guards to average 47.5 Draft Kings points per game. Teodosic is my favorite value play of the night.
