There are 9 NBA games on the main Wednesday, February 28, 2018 slate at Draft Kings. I enjoy playing these larger slates and I especially like to search for the right value plays to go along with high-priced studs I’m targeting like Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant or James Harden.
The contests begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, so be sure to check and see if the players you selected are actually playing tonight.
The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of one point guard, one shooting guard, one small forward, one power forward, one center, one guard, one forward and one utility player.
With all the high-priced options tonight, we are going to need to find some solid value plays. That means players priced at $5000 or less that have the upside to return anywhere from six times value or more.
I have three such players under $5000 that I am considering for the Wednesday night slate.
Atlanta Hawks PG Isaiah Taylor ($3900) has been getting 20 plus minutes in each of the past three games and has exceeded six times value in all three of them. Taylor has a chance to extend the streak to four Wednesday night against a Indiana Pacers defense allowing 62.3 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games.
Toronto Raptors PF/C Jacob Poeltl ($3800) has exceeded six times value in three of the past five games and has a nice opportunity on Wednesday against an Orlando Magic defense that has been in the bottom half of the league in defense against centers this season.
Goldnen State Warriors SG/SF Andre Iguodala ($3600) has a terrific opportunity on Wednesday against a Wizards defense allowing small forwards to average 103.2 Draft Kings points per game over their past five. Iguodala has exceeded six times value in three of the past five and is in a good spot to reach six times value again on Wednesday.
Good luck at Draft Kings Wednesday!!
