There are nine NBA games on the main Friday December 22nd NBA slate at Draft Kings. This is an interesting slate for sure but I am looking forward to smashing it.
The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of one point guard, one shooting guard, one small forward, one power forward, one center, one guard, one forward and one utility player.
Looking at tonight’s slate it’s not going to be easy to find a value play under my usual $5000 dollar Mendoza line so what I’m going to try and do is find three players in great spots who I think will hit or even exceed six times value.
Fridays slate begins at 7:00 pm so be sure to the best of your ability that the players on your roster are actually playing.
I have three such players in great spots Friday that I would like you to consider.
Portland Trail Blazers PG/SG Shabazz Napier ($4300) has a terrific opportunity Friday night against a Denver Nuggets defense allowing point guards to average 74.3 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games. Napier should see more than his usual 20 or so minutes as Trail Blazers PG Damian Lillard will not dress due to injury on Friday. Napier has exceeded six times value in three of his last five games.
The Miami Heat have had their frontcourt decimated with injuries and Heat PF/C Jordan Mickey ($3900) has been fantastic filling in and has exceeded six times value in four of his last five games. The Dallas Mavericks have allowed opposing centers to average 56.9 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games and I look for Mickey to have another good opportunity on Friday night.
Detroit Pistons SG/SF Reggie Bullock ($3800) has a terrific opportunity Friday night against a New York Knicks defense allowing opposing shooting guards to average 71.8 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games. Bullock has exceeded nine times value in two of his past five games and with Bullock it’s either boom or bust. Let’s hope for boom on Friday night!
Good luck on Draft Kings Friday!!
