Draft Kings EPL Picks for Saturday, April 7

There will be eight EPL games on the Saturday, April 7, and Draft Kings is presenting contests to cover all.

The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of two forwards, two midfielders, two defenders, one goalkeeper, and one utility player. Saturday’s fixtures are below. The Fixture Difficulty Rating (FDR) comes from the Fantasy Premier League website. The rating is from 1-5 with one being the lowest difficulty rating and five being the highest difficulty rating (higher the rating, better the team).

Harry Kane, returning from injury Gameweek 33, will be a popular pick as the Tottenham Spurs have an asymmetric match against Stoke. Currently, Stoke has conceded the most goals (61), and the Spurs are rank 3rd in goals scored (62). Kane is enticing but also expensive. Let’s look at some players to either balance Harry Kane’s price or separate from the pack.

Injury Note: Mohamed Salah has a groin injury and will be a game time decision. Note that Roberto Firmino’s success is highly dependent upon Salah playing.

Fixtures for April 7, 2018

Home Team FDR Away Team FDR
Everton 3 Liverpool 4
Bournemouth 3 Crystal Palace 2
Brighton 2 Huddersfield 2
Leicester 3 Newcastle 3
Stoke 2 Tottenham 4
Watford 2 Burnley 3
West Brom 2 Swansea 3
Manchester City 5 Manchester United 4

Brighton and Hove Albion (BHA), F, José Izquierdo ($5,500) “It was a fire fight!” (Boondock Saints). This is an even matchup of not so desired play level. BHA and Huddersfield have conceded the 17th and 18th most goals, respectively. Izquierdo has a high ceiling and this is a good matchup to capitalize on that.

Huddersfield Town, M, Aaron Mooy ($5,600): Staying in the fire fight – Aaron Mooy is averaging 9.2 FPPG. Credit to Mooy for taking advantage of poor performing teams which is when the midfielder boosts his average with high scores. BHA is a great opportunity for Mooy to pad low scoring games.

Manchester City, D, Kyle Walker ($4,500): Walker averaged 8.5 FPTS his last three games and has an average of 6.0 FPTS on the season. Manchester City ranks second for clean sheets and has conceded the fewest goals. Walker will face Manchester United but this could be a low scoring game which is to the advantage of a defender.

Crystal Palace, M, Luka Milivojevic ($5,000): “My name is Luka” Milivojevic could very well be at the beginning of a hot streak, scoring in his last two games. The Midfielder is the Palace’s penalty taker and has an opportunistic match up against Bournemouth, a club that’s conceded 51 goals this season.
