The weather looks good across the MLB slate aside from Detroit, where we will avoid Tigers and White Sox with relative ease. Let’s also shy away from Royals, Angels and Padres hitters, who are up against Corey Kluber, Justin Verlander and Clayton Kershaw, respectively.
Stephen Piscotty ($2800): The A’s outfielder has slowed down in August after a blistering June and July, but the price is right and he went yard last night against Twins reliever Addison Reed.
Mike Fiers ($4900): Sticking with Oakland, Fiers has continued his breakout season since being swapped from the Tigers. As an Athletic, the righty is 2-0 over three starts with a 1.47 ERA and 0.65 WHIP with 21 strikeouts against one walk.
