Philadelphia Eagles
Tesla Model S
The reigning Super Bowl Champions but on a show for all in early February. They are new, they are flashy and they are young. With two young and capable quarterbacks on the roster they have the depth to make another run at the title in 2018. The Elon Musk of the team (Doug Pederson) has the city of Philadelphia buying in, and you should too.
New York Giants
Chrysler 300 S
The Giants appear to be a playoff contender based on the talent of the roster alone. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection the holes on both sides of the ball appear. The lack of run game on offense and inconsistencies in coverage cause easy wins to slip away. Regardless of the results from the injury riddled 2017 season, this team will be back with a vengeance and has the tools to compete with the best of them.
Dallas Cowboys
Cadillac Escalade
The individual ability of their players is undeniable, but what this team needs is to play like a unit. We saw a glimpse of that in 2016 but it remains to be seen what lies ahead. Currently you have a team that is overpriced and when matched against its competitors often times falls short. If the selfishness of a few can be cast aside for the success of the team, a Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl appearance could become a reality.
Washington Redskins
Subaru Impreza
The Alex Smith trade and signing was a bit underwhelming, but the Redskins were obviously tired of losing games due to Kirk Cousins’ mistakes. Criticism is fair on that decision because you should never buy a player coming off of a career year to replace a player who has much more upside. The result of this move leaves a lot of questions for the 2018 season but the decision that Washington made was a safe one.
Seattle Seahawks
Range Rover
Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks are a premier team in the league. The problem is that they can never stay healthy down the stretch. The flexibility of the roster keeps them relevant, but in order to make a real push they have to avoid injuries.
Los Angeles Rams
Subaru WRX
The highest scoring team in 2017 certainly did not disappoint Rams fans. The new offensive-minded coaching regime led by head coach of the year Sean McVay is going to be a headache for defensive coordinators for years to come. It’s incredible to think of how much time was wasted by allowing Jeff Fisher to stay as long as he did.
San Francisco 49ers
Scion FRS
This sleeper team had nothing to prove toward the end of last season but still swept the competition, compiling five consecutive wins. Jimmy Garoppolo is also officially the highest paid quarterback and the team still has an extremely high amount of cap space remaining. It will be interesting to see which offensive pieces this team adds in free agency.
\Arizona Cardinals
Mini Cooper
Not long ago, the Cardinals were a team thought to contend for a Lombardi Trophy. Now they have no quarterback and a new head coach. Aging receiver and future hall of famer Larry Fitzgerald might also not return in 2018. The future is bleak, but at least the powerful defense could keep the team relevant.
Minnesota Vikings
Dodge Ram 3500
This team’s strength is its defense but don’t sleep on it offensively. We saw that firsthand in the divisional round of the playoffs against the New Orleans Saints with a game winning touchdown pass to seal the win. As for 2018 plans, Minnesota has been vocal about their decision to let Case Keenum leave, which leaves questions on whether Kirk Cousins will be their main target. This is one of the more interesting offseason situations to monitor.
Detroit Lions
Mazda 6
The Detroit Lions have absolutely no name value with the exception of Matthew Stafford and Darius Slay. They still manage to find a way to get it done in the fourth quarter and grind out tough comeback wins. If any opponent takes the foot off the gas pedal, the Lions know how to capitalize.
Green Bay Packers
Chevy Chevelle SS
Due to the rich history in Green Bay, this team gets the only classic car on this list. The Packers are an offense powerhouse and boast three great receivers including Devante Adams who is fresh off his new contract after catching 22 touchdowns the past two seasons. Do we need to mention that the team is led by the league’s most efficient passer in Aaron Rodgers? There is no doubt they will be contenders every year with Rodgers at the helm. RELAX.
Chicago Bears
Nissan Maxima
The Bears leave a lot to be desired offensively by having no real receiving threats with the exception of rookie running back Tarik Cohen. To their credit, the young first-round quarterback Mitch Trubisky did show some potential down the stretch. As a whole they are far from tough competition and the offseason moves they make will be detrimental to this team’s season.
New Orleans Saints
Ford Shelby Mustang GT-H
We saw a major transition in the Saints’ offensive philosophy this season and it paid dividends. New Orleans is now led by two quick and powerful rushers and officially has the best RB duo in the National Football League. The adjustment couldn’t have come at a better time, because future hall of famer Drew Brees isn’t getting any younger, and although he could still throw for 5,000 yards per season, it is not a smart decision to require him to.
Carolina Panthers
Chevy Avalanche
The Panthers are loaded with big bodied and talented players. You have Cam Newton, Greg Olsen, Devin Funchess and Luke Kuechly. Each poses a serious threat at his respected position. Rookie running back Christian McCaffrey showed a lot of promise, and if they are able to get him more involved this could be one of the more dynamic teams in the league. Unfortunately, they still fall victim to head scratching plays that make you wonder “what were they thinking?”
Tampa Bay Bucaneers
Honda CRV
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t anything special. At least not in their current state. They do have one of the league’s best wide receivers and a promising quarterback who was taken first overall in the 2015 NFL Draft. I do believe they are better than a 5 win team, but until we see some improvement on the field it’s tough to imagine them being in the playoff mix.
Atlanta Falcons
Lexus IS300
Between Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Mohammed Sanu, Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, it’s hard to find a weak spot in this offense. It surprised everyone to see this offense fall from first in total offense all the way to 17th. Kyle Shanahan was certainly missed, but the roster is undeniably STACKED. Another year getting used to Shanahan’s departure should fare well for them.
