English Premier League (EPL) holiday fixture kicks off this Saturday, December 23 with gameweek 19. DraftKings features several contests for the seven matches scheduled for that day.
The standard lineup of each DraftKings contest has one goalkeeper, two defenders, two midfielders, two forwards and one utility player. Midfielders are today’s focus.
Christian Eriksen (TOT, $9,400): One point separates the Spurs from Burnley. Is it a High scoring game? A low scoring game? It does not matter. Look for a midfield clash, with plenty of opportunities for tackles, passes and, possibly assists.
Scott Arfield (BUR, $4,100): See the above comment for Eriksen. Same game and same potential for fantasy points but at a reasonable salary that may help you load up with City players.
Raheem Sterling (MCI, $9,900): Sterling is the top Manchester City midfielder. This pick is self-explanatory, but, given the high salaries, how many City plays are feasible? The answer is, “as many as the salary cap will allow.”
