DraftKings features several dozen DFS contests for the English Premier League Gameweek 9 scheduled for this Saturday, October 21.
The standard lineup of each DraftKings contest has one goalkeeper, two defenders, two midfielders, two forwards and one utility player.
Midfielders were discussed in yesterday’s article. Today we are adding our recommendations for defenders and forwards. DraftKings salary is shown in parenthesis.
Forward: Gabriel Jesus (MCI, $10,600): After scoring seven times last week, City is on everyone’s radar and the Burnley defense is not going to stop their powerful strikers.
Defender: Stephen Ward (BUR, $3900): Playing at Etihad Stadium means plenty of interceptions and tackles.
Defender: Matthew Lowton (BUR, $3600): See above, re Ward. City scored seven times last Saturday. The Burnley defense has been warned.
