Checking in with Mother Nature, looks like a great day for baseball – finally. As of now, the weather looks clear. We have a large Saturday night 10 game slate. But pitching is a challenge. In 50/50 contests I generally like to roster at least one stud pitcher, but there are none on this night. So the battle now comes down to trying to find the pitchers who offer the least downside.
Charlie Morton ($5,800): has at least 16 points in five of six starts. Morton has become a high strikeout pitchers which puts him in the top spot for tonight. I am a little nervous about the road game at Chase Field as good as Arizona has been playing, but Morton’s high floor is too good to pass up.
The Braves get face Ty Blach and should really tee off. Ozzie Albies ($3,900), Ronald Acuna ($3,800), and Freddie Freeman ($5,800) are all heavily in play. The Braves have been playing great baseball scoring a ton of runs, and Saturday should be no exception.
