Want to take on the Creativesports 2.0 staff, braino-y-braino, at DFS?
Well, you can indeed at RealTime Sports, matching up against my Creativesports 2.0 mates and me, and get some bragging rights in the process.
Tune in here daily, as we pick up the Creativesports 2.0 gauntlet where you can play our daily 50/50 game ($5) or come right after us — for we will rotate experts — on Fridays in the free Beat the Experts contest. Beat us and you can win $2, and that might be easier than you think!
Checking in with Mother Nature, the weather looks ok but check before lineups lock at 7:10. Be sure to skip the two early games: Minnesota/Baltimore and Cincinnati/Chicago.
Max Scherzer ($8,700): Scherzer has not won in his past six starts but he continues to rack up strikeouts and minimize runs allowed. There appear to be five viable starting pitchers out of the eight, but Mad Max looks like the best lock for points.
J.D. Martinez ($7,000) and Mookie Betts ($6,800): These sluggers are by far the best bats on the slate. The high prices makes the rest of the lineup a challenge. There appear to be little to no options to field any other star hitters on this card.
