The PGA and FedEx Cup continue their sojourn to the Far East as the pros move to Nine Bridges on Jeju Island, part of South Korea. The CJ Cup represents the first official PGA event in the country of South Korea, suggesting the fantastic combination of kimchi and putting.
Following time in Malaysia last week, and the perfect cultural bookend as the PGA moves to Jackson, Mississippi next week, Nine Bridges lives in easy view of the volcano, Mount Halla. That puts the course at above 3000 feet, logging in at 7196 with a par of 72.
As far as picks, I went a couple of ways here, first looking at GIR, but also thinking about the homefield knowledge advantage.

Pat Perez ($9400): Perez is tied for first in GIR and is smoking hot coming off his win at the CIMB last week, checking in at -24. He’s playing well and his game should suit the environment.
Rafael Cabrera-Bello ($9000): Cabrera-Bello is tied for ninth in GIR with an 80.56%, has made 19 of 26 cuts and boasts eight Top 10 finishes this year.
Cameron Smith ($8900): Smith smoked last week as well, finishing tied for fifth–his third Top 10–and is tied for 30th in GIR at 75%.
Sung Kang ($8200): Local knowledge has to factor in and Kang has made 20 of 28 cuts and is averaging 59.3 points per week.
Young-han Song ($6900): Again, I am figuring local knowledge gives Song (and me) the advantage and an under par weekend.
Jinho Choi ($6800): Another relative unknown (one of two cuts made) but again, there is no place like home.
