Football Hotpage Week 10: It’s Easy, Pick the Highest Scorers

No, DFS is not easy. At times it is logical, at others times it is illogical. Just pick the players who will score the highest. Easy, right?

Well, sometimes we try to over-analyze and miss the obvious. So this week I am going back to basics to build my DraftKings GPP Single-Entry contest lineup.

Let’s start with the teams that have the highest implied Las Vegas totals. Yes, I understand that Las Vegas oddsmakers are not trying to project the final score but rather to project a number to get the money close to even on both sides. But the Vegas oddsmakers have not had an easy time with all the scoring in the NFL this season.

So the NFL teams with the highest projected totals are: Kansas City (33), New Orleans (30), Los Angeles Rams (30), Los Angeles Chargers (30), and Green Bay (29). Yes, I arbitrarily stopped at the top five just to keep the pool small.

Below are my favorite selections at each position, and at the bottom is my current lineup consisting of only players from the teams projected as the highest scoring.
