As usual when the Rockies are at home, expect hits. St. Louis has stepped on the pedal, making Rockies and Cardinals hitters worth rostering. The Royals are hosting the Indians in what could be a game of hits with 16 mph winds out at Kauffman Stadium. The Yankees, who are seven games back from the Red Sox and desperate to stay alive as the young Athletics are bringing heat, will play in Baltimore. The O’s are rebuilding but that doesn’t put rivalry aside.
Possible rain in Minnesota, but all games look good to go.
Michael Kopech ($4700): A rain delay last week limited Kopech’s highly anticipated debut to two innings. What a buzz hassle! In those two innings Kopech had four strikeouts, and the rookie was happy to see his changeup swung over. Comerica Park is hittable, but homeruns are harder to come by, as seen with the Tigers’ .252 BA and .397 SLG at home. I like the recent Twitter Star for a win today!
Gregory Polanco ($3700): Polanco has eight fantasy points in the last two games against the Brewers this series. The Great Expectations Pirate has turned things up the past seven games with a .370 BA and one home run. In 30 at bats against Chase Anderson, Polanco has only a .200 average but four home runs and a .906 OPS.
