Today’s pitching choices are bountiful with high price tags on Max Scherzer, Noah Syndergaard, and Carlos Carrasco. Some good choices, sitting in the middle of the pack, are Charlie Morton, Walker Buehler, and Robbie Ray. Cleveland looks like a favorable stack, but every time I go against the O’s they give me the middle finger.
There’s a possibility of rain in Cincinnati but it doesn’t look like weather will postpone any games.
Miguel Andujar ($3800): Andujar has been hot, hitting .393 with four home runs the past seven games. The young Yankee who favors right-handed pitchers will face Marcus Stroman’s inviting 5.06 ERA vs righties.
Willy Adames ($3100): Little Willy is streaking with a .386 BA, three HRs, and four SBs his past 14 games. The young Ray will face Southpaw Brian Johnson. The points will probably come from base hits, not home runs.
