Gerrit Cole, Robbie Ray, and Jose Berrios are the best chances for double digit K’s. The two Tyler’s (Chatwood and Mahle) have the potential to generate strikes, but have equal potential to blow up and pitch less than six innings. Going for the W? Rick Porcello (4-0, 1.93) and Chad Bettis (3-0, 2.40) both have favorable match-ups. Looking at hitters, the Seattle at Cleveland game boasts an over/under of nine runs which isn’t inconceivable with the mound being topped by Mariner Josh Tomlin (0-3, 9.24) and Indian lefty Marco Gonzales (2-2, 5.56).
Looks like today will be another nice day for baseball. Other than a little rain in Boston, skies are clear.
Mike Zunino ($2800): Zunino finally came off the DL on April 20 and didn’t take long to get back to form, batting a .300 with three home runs his last seven games. Zunino had the day off yesterday and will face the hittable Josh Tomlin.
Javier Baez ($4400): Baez is hot right now so enjoy the heat. The young Cub is hitting .304 with 7 HRs on the season, and .333 with one HR the last seven games with a glaring .358 BA preference towards right-handed pitchers so far this season. Baez also has three stolen bases so maybe a swiped bag will be the cherry on top.
