DraftKings has five games on Saturday’s slate. Saturday’s favorite match up is Everton at home against Brighton. Everton’s Sigurdsson is priced to have the most fantasy points of the match. A high goal total is expected in the match between Liverpool and Arsenal. Defenders from Everton and Watford have the best potential for a clean sheet, making Digne and Holebas the most expensive defenders. Latest reports state that Salah, who is nursing a wrist injury, is available for Saturday’s match. Salah and Mané both have high price tags. The selection of players at low prices is not appetizing, so the better play may be to get players less expensive than the studs and have more quality mid-level players.
The standard lineup at DraftKings consists of two forwards, two midfielders, two defenders, one goalkeeper, and one utility player. Saturday’s fixtures are below. The Fixture Difficulty Rating (FDR) comes from the Fantasy Premier League website. The rating is from 1-5 with one being the lowest difficulty rating and five being the highest difficulty rating (higher the rating, better the team).
Fixtures for November 3, 2018
Home Team | FDR | Away Team | FDR |
Cardiff | 2 | Leicester | 3 |
Everton | 3 | Brighton | 3 |
Newcastle | 2 | Watford | 3 |
West Ham | 2 | Burnley | 2 |
Arsenal | 4 | Liverpool | 5 |
Liverpool M/F Roberto Firmino ($7500): Like high risks? Firmino’s numbers have not been good, even against lucrative match ups. So, why buy Firmino instead of paying up for Salah or Mané? The Brazilian’s average of 12 goals and seven assists the past three years suggest Liverpool’s other great scorer should get better. Add to that, Firmino has scored and assisted in his last three matches against Arsenal.
Cardiff City M Callum Paterson ($5000): Paterson has scored a goal his last two matches earning the young Scot double-digit fantasy points, and eight fantasy points twice by taking shots. Leicester has allowed 11.2 shots and 1.6 goals per game. The floor is low and the ceiling is high.
