There are nine NHL games on the Friday March 2nd slate at Draft Kings. The Vegas Knights have an enticing matchup against the Ottawa Senators. The Buffalo Sabres against the Florida Panthers at home has the chance to be a high scoring game.
The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of two centers, three wingers, two defenders, one goalie, and one utility player.

Winnipeg Jets | Connor Hellebuyck | $8,400 |
Let’s look at some players to consider for tonight’s slate.
Sponge Worthy ( Aplayer worthy of his high price). Winnipeg Jets G Connor Hellebuyck ($8,400) Hellebuyck will be at home up against the low scoring Detroit Redwings (28th Goals For). The Jets goalie has been strong all season. In the last ten games between the posts, Hellebuyck has six wins, four losses, 2.39 goals against, and a .922 save percentage.
Buffalo Sabres D Rasmus Ristolainen ($5,100) Ristolainen has five goals and five assists in his last ten games averaging 26:30 in ice time. The defender’s lack of power-play goals in the last ten games is comforted by five power-play assists. The Sabres will play the Panthers who are ranked 23rd in Goals Against (3.18 Goals per Game).
Winnipeg Jets RW Patrik Laine ($6,700) Laine was in a bit of a slump but has been on a six game scoring streak with seven goals (three power-play goals) and five assists (three on the power-play). The Jets Winger is up against the Detroit Redwings so take advantage of the hot streak.
Calgary Flames C Mikael Backlund ($5,300) Backlund has averaged 3.5 fantasy points per game (FPPG) against the Rangers (’17-’18) and 2.8 FPPG over the last ten games. The Flames Center is either on fire or not; the risk is high but so is the ceiling. The Rangers are porous so Backlund may ignite.
Amygdala Pick (my emotional pick that has little to do with logic or stats). New York Rangers LW Ryan Spooner ($4,000) I like his last name.
Good luck at Draft Kings!!
