There are 4 NBA games on the main Wednesday March 13th, 2018 slate at Draft Kings. I enjoy playing these smaller slates and I especially like to search for the right value plays to go along with high-priced studs I’m targeting like Keven Durant or Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The contests begin at 7 p.m.Wednesday, so be sure to check and see if the players you selected are actually playing tonight.
The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of one point guard, one shooting guard, one small forward, one power forward, one center, one guard, one forward and one utility player.
With all the high-priced options tonight, we are going to need to find some solid value plays. That means players priced at $5000 or less that have the upside to return anywhere from six times value or more.
I have three such players under $5000 that I am considering for the Wednesday night slate.
Orlando Magic PG/SG D.J. Augustine ($4800) has exceeded six times value in just one of the past five games but he is in a good spot on Wednesday against a Milwaukee Bucks defense allowing point guards to average 60.5 Draft Kings points per game over their last five.
Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat ($4500) hasn’t exceeded six times value in a while but he still sees minutes and has a good opportunity Wednesday against a Boston Celtics defense allowing centers to average 60 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games.
Miami Heat SG/SF Wayne Ellington ($3900) has exceeded six times value in two of his past five games and he has a great opportunity Wednesday against a Sacramento Kings defense allowing shooting guards to average 84 Draft Kings points per game over their past five.
Good luck at Draft Kings Wednesday!!
