There are nine NBA games on the main Friday February 9th 2018 slate at Draft Kings. I enjoy playing these larger slates and I especially like to search for the right value plays to go along with high priced studs I’m targeting like LeBron James and Andre Drummond.
The contests begin at 7:00 pm Friday so be sure to check and see if the players you have selected are actually playing tonight.
The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of one point guard, one shooting guard, one small forward, one power forward, one center, one guard, one forward and one utility player.
With all the high priced options tonight we are going to need to find some solid value plays. For me that means players priced at $5,000 dollars or less that have the upside to return anywhere from six times value or more.
I have three such players under $5000 that I am considering for the Wednesday night slate.
Cleveland Cavaliers SF/PF Jeff Green ($4500) has a good opportunity on Friday night against an Atlanta Hawks defense allowing power forwards to average 69.3 Draft Kings points per game over their past five. The Cavaliers might not have very many eligible players on Friday night and over his past five games Green has exceeded six times value in two of those games.
Detroit Pistons SF/PF Anthony Tolliver ($4100) is in a good spot on Friday night against a Los Angeles Clippers defense allowing small forwards to average 52 Draft Kings points and power forwards 68.6 over their past five games. Tolliver spends time at both spots and over the past five games he’s exceeded six times value twice.
Atlanta Hawks PF/C John Collins ($4800) has a good opportunity against a Cleveland Cavaliers defense allowing power forwards to average 63.2 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games. Collins has only exceeded six times value once in his last five games but he should be fine on Friday against the depleted Cavaliers.
Good luck at Draft Kings!!
