There are nine NBA games on the main Friday February 2nd, 2018 slate at Draft Kings. I enjoy playing these full size slates and I especially like to search for the right value plays to go along with high priced studs I’m targeting like Russell Westbrook or Anthony Davis.
The contests begin at 7:00 pm tonight so be sure to check and see if the players you have selected are actually playing tonight.
The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of one point guard, one shooting guard, one small forward, one power forward, one center, one guard, one forward and one utility player.
With all the high priced options tonight we are going to need to find some solid value plays. For me that means players priced at $5,000 dollars or less that have the upside to return anywhere from six times value or more.
I have three such players under $5000 that I am considering for Friday night’s slate.
Brooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen ($4600) has a good opportunity on Friday night at home against a Los Angeles Lakers defense allowing centers to average 66.3 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games. Allen has exceeded six times value in three of his past five games and is coming off a terrific 39 Draft Kings points night against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Miami Heat PF/C Bam Adebayo ($3800) has a good opportunity on Friday night against a 76ers defense allowing centers to average 57.5 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games. Adebayo is averaging roughly 18-20 minutes a night and has exceeded six times value in just one of his past five games.
Golden State Warriors PF/C David West ($3500) has a terrific opportunity on the road Friday night against a Sacramento Kings defense allowing centers to average 67.5 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games. West has exceeded six times value in just one of his past five games but if this game gets out of hand as the opening line of Warriors -13 suggests it will West could see additional minutes and that might win you a GPP on Friday night.
Good luck at Draft Kings!!
