Want to take on the Creativesports 2.0 staff, braino-y-braino, at DFS?
Well, you can indeed at RealTime Sports, matching up against my Creativesports 2.0 mates and me, and get some bragging rights in the process.
Tune in here daily, as we pick up the Creativesports 2.0 gauntlet where you can play our daily 50/50 game ($5) or come right after us — for we will rotate experts — on Fridays in the free Beat the Experts contest. Beat us and you can win $2, and that might be easier than you think! Last week we gave you Blake Snell and his six inning, one run, eight strikeout win outing. This week we are equally confident.
Cole Hamels (5700): To steal from Dickens, it’s been a tale of two Hamels. The Texas version stunk up the place. The Chicago Hamels is a veritable stud. Cole gets the punchless Mets today and should sail right through. Hamels is 5-0 as a Cub, having given up just three runs in his five starts encompassing 34 innings. Quit reading now and pick up Hamels as many times as you can.
Max Muncy ($4400). Muncy is the epitome of a streak hitter. He can get you 15 points as easily as getting shutout. Today, he is facing an overmatched and young Ariel Jurado in Texas. Jurado spent three years at Double-A Frisco before getting called up to the show this season, and his numbers (6.40 ERA, 6 home runs in 32 innings) indicate that he should have stopped off in Triple-A for more seasoning. Muncy generally eats up bad pitching, and it doesn’t get much worse that Jurado.
Best of luck. Don’t blink.
