There are ten NBA games on the main Wednesday January 17th slate at Draft Kings. I enjoy playing these large slates and I especially like to search for the right value plays to go along with high priced studs I’m targeting like Russell Westbrook and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The contests begin at 7:00 pm tonight so be sure to check and see if the players you have selected are actually playing tonight.
The standard lineup at Draft Kings consists of one point guard, one shooting guard, one small forward, one power forward, one center, one guard, one forward and one utility player.
With all the high priced options tonight we are going to need to find some solid value plays. For me that means players priced at $5,000 dollars or less that have the upside to return anywhere from six times value or more.
I have three such players in great spots Wednesday that I would like you to consider.
Los Angeles Clipper SG/SF Tyrone Wallace ($4600) has a great opportunity on Wednesday night against a Denver Nuggets defense allowing shooting guards to average 62.8 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games. Wallace has been averaging about 32 minutes per night over his past five and has exceeded six times value in four of those games.
New Orleans Pelicans SG/SF E’Twaun Moore ($4500) has a good opportunity on Wednesday night against an Atlanta Hawks defense allowing small forwards to average 84.7 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games. Over the past five games more is averaging 30+ minutes and has exceeded six times value in two of those games.
Memphis Grizzlies SF/PF Jamychal Green ($4200) has a great opportunity on Wednesday night against a New York Knicks defense allowing power forwards to average 88.4 Draft Kings points per game over their past five games. Green is averaging about 28 minutes a night over his past five games and exceeded six times value in two of those games.
Good luck at Draft Kings!!
